BCTC Classroom Building Celebrates Topping Out

Recently, we joined Bluegrass Community and Technical College, Trace Creek Construction, and design team partners Brown + Kubican Structural Engineers and CMTA Engineers to mark the topping out of the new Classroom Building on the BCTC Newtown Campus. With the placement of one of the final steel beams, this moment represented more than progress—it reflected the collaboration, dedication, and vision driving this project forward.Designed by Omni Architects, the new facility is taking shape as a dynamic hub for learning and connection. The building will feature flexible classrooms, meeting rooms, offices, and welcoming study spaces—all thoughtfully designed to support student success and foster a strong academic community.
