Omni Architects has completed four projects for the Menifee County Board of Education. Located in Frenchburg, Kentucky, the mission of the Menifee County High School is to serve as a gateway to the future in Appalachia, to inspire students’ lifelong scholastic ambition, and to foster their appreciation of the local culture.

The project site was located along a long narrow bench which backed-up to a 500 foot high mountain. The design strategy called for a singular circulation corridor with a series of program elements arranged laterally.

Phase I included the gymnasium, administrative areas, and classroom complex. The facility is primarily brick and includes pitched roofing systems.
