Located on the outskirts of Lexington, the Griffin Gate Marriott Hotel is the centerpiece of the 564-acre Griffin Gate Resort Complex. This four diamond hotel is surrounded by an 18-hole championship golf course designed by Rees Jones and was the first resort hotel in Central Kentucky.
Designed in collaboration with Nicols Associates of Miami, the seven-story hotel has 409 rooms including five types of executive suites. Complete convention and meeting facilities include several meeting rooms and a 9,570 SF ballroom with a seating capacity of 1,370 people which also can be divided into eight smaller spaces. There are three restaurants, seating 300, with a fully equipped kitchen and food conveying systems. The lobby space is accented with a five-story open atrium with water features on three levels. Recreational facilities in the hotel include an indoor swimming pool, whirlpool, sauna, exercise room, dressing rooms, and a game room.
