Eastern Kentucky University decided to consolidate all the student services functions and departments in one building. The university wanted the building to be conveniently located and easily accessible for all students. The site chosen for the project is located in the center of campus.

The new building contains a 350-seat auditorium, classrooms and student services offices. In addition, the building includes a 24 hour computer center, meeting rooms, and a conference center.
