The new building includes teaching laboratories, faculty and student research laboratories, classrooms, seminar rooms, faculty and student organization offices, greenhouses, and a clean room. A key design objective was to create public spaces that display the sciences and encourage interaction between the departments and the wider community.
Omni’s responsibilities includes campus master planning, site selection, programming, full design services, infrastructure upgrades, equipment selection and purchasing, and furniture selection. Omni Architects also worked closely with the Commissioning Agent to ensure that the new facility was fully operational.
