Omni Architects was selected to design and renovate the building for use as the new Central Offices for the Housing Authority. The space program called for consolidation of several units within the organization. Administration, Accounting, Section 8, and Maintenance were all unified within the new space.

In addition, a new board room, two conference rooms and three large seminar rooms were included making this facility among the most service oriented in the state. The conference center will be used as a regional training center by HUD for housing authorities throughout central Kentucky.
